Initiated in 1992, Chickasaw Trace Park (CTP) is a 240.5-acre park dedicated to outdoor recreation for Maury County just northwest of the City of Columbia. The park contains 9-miles of mountain bike trails, a Pump & Jump track, boat ramp, radio control flight field, radio control car track, the Derryberry Log Cabin, restrooms, a playground, and two pavilions. Chickasaw Trace Park is a perfect place for mountain bikers of any level, for those wanting to see a scenic view of the Duck River or its tributary Knob Creek, or getting to practice with radio controlled airplanes and cars on a designated flying field and track.

The Columbia Cycling Club assists Maury County Parks and Recreation with maintenance of mountain bike trails and the coordination of race events such as the Jailbreak Triathlon, the Chickasaw Trace Classic, the Duck River Trail Run, the Scarecrow Century, weekly group rides, and more.
