Reserve Unit
The Department's Reserve Unit is an integral part of maintaining service across the county. Dedicated individuals from all walks of life contribute their time on a volunteer basis, in a wide variety of activities to assist the department and the citizens of Maury County.

School Resource Officer (SRO)
School Resource Officers (SROs) are specially trained deputies focused on serving the community at the heart of the communities’ resources, its children.

SWAT
The Sheriff’s Department SWAT Team is a specialized unit of officers that respond to calls that are beyond the scope of the Patrol Deputy.

Task Force
The Maury County Drug Task Force conducts operations throughout the county and frequently teams up with federal, state and local agencies in joint operations.

Training
The Sheriff’s Department Training Unit is responsible for ensuring that each sworn deputy of the Sheriff’s Department receives 40 hours of in-service training which maintains the deputies certification as governed by the Peace Officers Standards and Training Commission, also known as P.O.S.T.

Transport Unit
The Sheriff’s Department Transport Unit is responsible for all movement of inmates at the Maury County Jail, to any other locations that the inmate may need to travel to.
